The Community Church of the Monterey Peninsula (CCMP), located one mile off Highway One on Carmel Valley Road, offers both of these options for your ceremony. The main sanctuary comfortably seats over 200 and the small chapel can accommodate up to 50. There is ample parking on site for all of your guests, and as the accompanying pictures demonstrate, there is beauty both inside and outside for the pictures that will carry the memories of your wedding day.
If this interests you, arrangements to book the church or chapel may be made by calling the church office (831-624-8595) and speaking with Carole French, who can determine if your date and time are available. The fee for the use of the main sanctuary is $650 and for the chapel, $325 and the church will take a deposit after you’ve completed their wedding information form.
I would officiate the ceremony and would love to begin the conversation with you about that as soon as we confirm my availability. The fee for officiant services is payable directly to me, not being be part of your contract with the church. I’ve been a friend of this church community for many years and have done many small ceremonies in the chapel, and because I value this association, I’m eager to promote the Community Church as a premier wedding venue in the Carmel area.
The church website is:
Community Church of the Monterey Peninsula
and there’s a page on the website with wedding information. Since you’d be working with me, some of that information will not apply. For example, you may or may not wish the church organist to play. You’re welcome to bring your own musicians or play cd’s on their sound system.
